The divine Helix gave man the gifts of life and music, and granted him great wisdom in His benevolence. The usurper god, the vast and terrible Dome, drove his followers to madness in the revelation of their darkest instincts, carving treacherous ledges into the earth and raising islands covered in fat guys to block the path to enlightenment. In time the gods slumbered in Mount Moon, and their prophets fled to the pure, unsullied tall grass and black cities of metal and stone, where they might await their masters' return. Yet, unbeknownst to the followers of Helix and Dome, a third quietly pierced the veil -- the ancient and unknowable Old Amber -- who delivered a prophet of his own constrained by neither good nor evil, anarchy nor democracy, to the bowels of a moldering Power Plant on Route 10. Old Amber finally entered the service of Dragon Tamer Lance, and the trio slumbered, and waited. Now you, all of you, the great gibbering voices of the old world, must return to inhabit the body of a ten year old child and return Lord Helix's dominion to the land, all while resisting the temptations of the dark prophet Flareon and his Lord's will for ultimate destruction.
