- description: I am posting this to yes indeed publicly state I disagree with assaulting a child. If you believe it should not be posted, that's your entitlement. I did what I needed to to await the RCMP's arrival. Most of our walk was no talking, it was only when she pipeds up something I responded. The 18 minutes of non-discussion was edited out for lack of exciting video. As for the public video, if you assault my child you are lucky you were not leaving in an ambulance instead of a police car. Consider the public video the easy way out, and I am entitled to use it. As for video of the assault, that's on security tape via the gas station & been reviewed & secured by RCMP. I obviously only began recording after the situation following her while on the other line with RCMP giving directions to the location as she was trying to flee. Let's get the focus here: 1) she attacked my child 2) tried to leave the scene when the police were called from myself & bystanders 3) if you think I was rude, I agree with you. And oh well! Would you have been a sweetheart if someone tried to dump your old child on the concrete? Drunk lady in downtown Red Deer - Attempted to assault baby by placing both hands on my childs baby carrier, and trying to turn it over before I grabbed the carrier. So our day was interesting. After leaving downtown for lunch, we rode our bikes home towing our daughter. A drunk belligerent lady came across the single lane (construction zone) and held up traffic. Cutting us off, I came to a stop as I rang my bell. She then began shouting for us to "take those F***ing bikes to the highway". Highway? Really? We were riding on the double wide sidewalk entrance to the bike baths, and for what it's worth the construction lane has no bike lanes. After I pointed out she was jaywalking and drunk at noon, she grabbed the baby carrier with both hands, and tried to tip my daughters carrier over. Things got heated fast after that, and I came in between her and my daughter and called the police. This entailed.... Keep it classy. August 7th 2014 - 11:55am I must say, after seeing what the RCMP deal with I commend them with respect for what they have to deal with on a daily basis. Thanks RCMP for your help with this.
