Giuliani was also asked by Stephanopoulos if Michael Cohen had made payments to other women on behalf of the president, to which Giuliani claimed to "have no knowledge of that". "But I would think if it was necessary, yes,” Giuliani said. “He made payments for the president. He conducted business for the president. he had legal fees, monies laid out, and expenditures. Which I have on my bills to my clients.” In response to this, and other remarks made by Giuliani, Avenatti concludes that Giuliani has created an 'absolute' and 'unmitigated disaster' for both he and the president. “It’s a train wreck", Avenatti says, "I can’t believe that that actually just happened". "I mean, what we witnessed by Rudy Giuliani may be one of the worst TV appearances by any attorney on behalf of a client in modern times.” According to Avenatti, there is “no question” that Trump’s payment to Daniels "has everything to do with the campaign". He also notes that there have, in fact, been other women, who have yet to be "properly vetted", that have come forward.
