Russia's Ministry of Defence said on Tuesday that 1,960 servicemen, 90 armoured personnel carriers, and 380 units consisting of other vehicles and special equipment will monitor the agreement. The peacekeepers have been establishing observation posts, including one at the entrance of Stepanakert on the road to the city of Shushi, which can be seen in the footage. Armoured vehicles could also be seen, including some sporting the Russian flag. Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a Russian-brokered deal to cease fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh starting from 01:00 local time (21:00 GMT) on November 9. Under the terms of the peace deal, Azerbaijan obtains control of the territory it has taken in the most recent fighting, with Armenia giving up further areas in the coming month.
