'Portmarnock 'riots'

The footage, which we've featured above, is admittedly quite unclear (the uploader getting distracted by a girl's arse at the 2.40 mark doesn't help...) but features Gardai standing between two sections of teens and attempting to separate each group from the other. As one youth quips "all this for one bus...", a Garda member warns the group: "There will be riot police here in five minutes. Anyone that's here will be in the back of a riot van." Sure enough, five minutes later sirens signify the arrival of the riot police van, which causes the uploader and friends to step away from the situation and as luck would have, find a bus just a short walk away. Though we'd beg to differ with the title's claim that the situation was a 'riot', it's an interesting watch nonetheless and we're interested in hearing a bit more information on how exactly the incident quickly got so heated.
