- description: I made up a new modular box for two MOT's wired up in parrallel. In series with the 2000 Volts output I put the resonator box which has 3 MOT capacitors connected in parrallel. This goes to the chicken stick. The arcs are pretty good and the MOT temperature remains reasonable. After 10 minutes arcing the MOT's were about 60°Celcius. The chicken stick is made from a fiberglass walking stick acquired on the Fielddays in Mystery Creek. A word of caution ! Do not attempt this yourself unless you have correct safety measures in place. Always isolate at the wall socket, wear safety glasses as a minimum.
