Morgan Cerasoli, of Barre, posted a video earlier this month of a man named Chris MacRitchie jumping into a river to save her dog, Arizona, on Jan. 10. The dog, named Arizona, had gone missing days earlier. In the video, MacRitchie can be seen walking along the river's edge, calling Arizona before he falls into the water himself. MacRitchie then swims out to save the dog and carries her back to shore, where another person wraps the freezing animal in a jacket. Cerasoli said she did not know MacRitchie prior to the bold rescue. The video was shot by MacRitchie's 15-year-old son. NBC5 has obtained permission to use the video showcasing his heroism.
