- description: De formatie ChildsPlay staat bekend als veelbelovend DJ collectief. Het geluid van ChildsPlay laat zich het best omschrijven als ‘dansbaar’. De groep maakte naam en faam met bootlegs en remixen van bekende hits uit het urban en electronische genre. De groep maakt gretig gebruik van haar eclectische achtergrond door uiteenlopende genres moeiteloos te combineren. Ook met eigen producties laat ChildsPlay geen dansvloer onberoerd achter. Het trio draaide reeds op toonaangevende festivals als Mysteryland, Vunzige Deuntjes, Latin Village en het Amsterdam Dance Event. ChildsPlay is zowel in binnen –als buitenland actief met releases. Zo werkten zij reeds samen met Nederlandse rappers als Kleine Viezerik, Dio en Sjaak. Internationaal verschenen er reeds releases met The Kemist en Nyanda (Brick and Lace). Hun officiële remix van Jay Hardway’s hitsingle ‘Bootcamp’ werd in minder dan 48 uur ruim 300.000 keer beluisterd. In 2014 verscheen een volledige EP (‘Traphall’) in samenwerking met de internationaal opererende DJ Chuckie op diens Dirty Dutch platenlabel. De mannen combineerde het populaire Trap-genre met bekende reggae en dancehall nummers, het genre "TRAPHALL" was / is geboren. Deze opvallende samenwerking beviel zo goed dat hij deze maand een vervolg kreeg: ‘Traphall EP 2’. Ondertussen verliest de groep Nederland niet uit het oog. Op hun nieuwe single ‘Shotje’ worden zij bijgestaan door een handvol razend populaire rappers.
