Africa is the way it is, because we chose to keep it that way. If the problems get solved, who would we donate to? These charities that only give less than 65% a scum. I am sick of it. WHY NOW? Because this is viral, so many many many young people have been sucked into donating to this, having no clue what they are doing. Thats massbrainwashing through media. Its sickening. OIL? Thats a conspiracy, THAT is not 100% the problem, my problem addresses the charity scam part. Not the thoughs that its to sturr a war on oil. We can't prove that, and were making outselves look dumb if we are only focusing on that. because THAT is not the main 100% proveable issue. WHO AM I? I am a canadian girl living in Japan. If you dare say that 'at least invisible children does more help than me'. lol. I was in many activist groups, doing real help for many issues. I also volinteered to help clean up and deliver food to the north eastern region of Japan. I also was in a peace corps for 5 months. Regardless of what I have done.... WHAT YOU CAN DO 1. share this 2. write a letter to goverment demanding charitiy scams be put to a stop. We don't want anymore companies that call themselves a charity when they only give less than 65%. It also should be MANDITORY for EVERY charity to broadcast publicly in their adds how much donations go to the programs. 3. You wanna help the world. Start by doing these small things, they actually help us all. - recycle - don't litter, heck even go to your local park and start picking up trash. I do that often. - Don't waste food. Do you know how much food people waste? its discusting. - Walk, bike, bus. Gas is poluting our air everyday, its sick that people don't care. Theres no planet B!! - buy foods from africa. Say what? Yes. Supporting african food will help the economy. - Search other topics, why africa is poor, and why a lot of the reasons as to why is OUR faults. - Best search on fair trade, and blood diamonds while your at it aswell.
