This vote is not just about Marriage Equality; it’s about the everyday homophobia and discrimination that is reinforced by a state which sees it’s LGBT citizens as lesser than others. In this video I tell my story and the battle of adolescence as I discovered who I was. I tried to change, to hide my sexuality from the world and to ‘cure’ myself of something that should never be seen as a sickness. I now love myself and who I’ve become. I want the ability to share that love with a life partner.
