Fan Siu-wong stars as Ricky, a young man with super human strength, who is sentenced to this maximum security prison for the revenge killing of a drug dealing lowlife responsible for his girlfriend's suicide. Ricky's righteous presence in prison soon threatens to usurp the power of those in charge, and Ricky is forced to engage in one bloody battle after another... 改編自日本漫畫家猿渡哲也同名之作，1991年作品《力王》被喻為90年代cult與暴力合成的經典港產動作片之一，由擅長改編漫畫的藍乃才導演，片中樊少皇飾演主角「力王」，顧名思義力王的力氣很大，能輕易把敵人打敗。何家駒飾演監獄的獄長，當他發狂時，便變身成為巨人的能力，與力王師出同門。葉蘊儀在電影裡客串飾演力王在高中時期的女友瑩瑩。片中還有樊梅生、何家駒和陳治良等主演。 《力王》電影故事內容講述力王(樊少皇飾)為替女友瑩瑩 (葉蘊儀 飾)報仇，怒殺一群壞人而被判入私營監獄。獄長 (何家駒 飾)與單眼蛇獄警 (樊梅生飾)恃著自己的身份，常迫害懦弱膽小的囚犯。力王為申張正義，終與單眼蛇發生衝突，單眼蛇惟聯同東南西北四倉之囚犯頭目—四大天王加害力王。一日，力王在囚犯阿沙 (陳國邦飾)身上發現毒品，追查下發現監獄一隱蔽處有大片罌粟田大量生產鴉片，而幕後主腦竟是獄長本人﹗因事件被揭發，阿沙慘遭兇殘的手法殺死；而四大天王受命加緊迫害力王......力王終與獄長正面交鋒，他又能否戰勝邪惡﹖ 導演藍乃才曾拍攝《孔雀王》和《阿修羅》電影，深受觀眾的歡迎。《力王》電影以動畫、特效化妝和道具取勝，逼真程度高，直至今日也是為人津津樂道。
