And if you need an explanation, then there were a lot of expensive Polly Pocket and Green Lantern toys which nobody bought so they sat in a warehouse until Poundland got hold of them. (The Green Lantern figures were originally sold for £7 each. Think how little Poundland must have paid per unit, as they're selling them for £1 each and presumably still making a profit...) Anyway, this is the first time I've been so upset by an item's concept that I've been inspired to make an ultra-short horror film to insert in a review.
