He is ultimately replaced by two bizarre white spots where his feet should have been -- dots which move across the screen before exiting stage right. One viewer, Margaret Pfeiffer, wrote after watching the video: "Many things this could be but I haven't a clue. "This was weird." Is it a malevolent spirit, a time traveller or a hologram? Or perhaps there is a more simple explanation such as a camera glitch?
