- description: Imani the gorilla and her baby were reunited at the Safari Park on March 24, 2014. The baby was born via an emergency c-section, and was treated for respiratory problems and pneumonia at the veterinary hospital. When she was healthy, the keepers brought her to the gorilla bedrooms so the troop could see her, and then she was placed inside, where mother Imani picked her up, held and carried her, then started nursing her. This video was taken from the tv monitors set up for observation and by a keeper's cell phone, to minimize any disturbance. Very happy results!
