This is bound to find an echo in the hearts of the Muslims of the region. But what is dangerous is that he is raising this 'us and them' rhetoric," the analysts pointed out. Whether planned or not, it will also impact on the issue of the statehood of Telangana by infusing a communal angle to the issue. With Hindu sections likely to be incensed by the utterances, the formation of Telangana will become all the more difficult. "Telangana can be created only in a situation where both Hindus and Muslims of the region are united in their demand," the analysts said. The complaint has been sent to the Public Prosecutor for opinion, she said adding, the police would act after receiving a report from the prosecutor.
