Deceased have been identified as 23-year-old rachana & 25-year-old jeevan. The SUV in which actors were travelling rammed into a stationary canter killing the two on the spot. According to sources the accident reportedly took place at 2 am on NH-48. Deceased along with a few other actors were on their way to kukke subramanya temple. Rachana was the lead actor in many kannada tele serials The actors were on their way to Kukke Subramanya temple to celebrate the brithday of a friend. Rachana was the lead of the famous Kannada daily soap 'Mahanadi'. She also acted in other tele seruals like 'Triveni Sangama', 'Madhubala' and others. A case has been registered at Kudoor Police station. In the mishap, actor's friends Ranjit, Uttam, Honnesh, Karthik and Eric have been injured.
