  • description: On Thursday 13 December, 2012, over 115 Cabin Crew took part in the first ever Cathay Pacific flash mob in support of a charitable cause, Operation Santa Claus. Using crew luggage, meal trolleys and party poppers as part of the show, the crew created quite a stir in Cathay City, the airline's headquarters in Hong Kong. The event has taken 4 months to put together and involved many practice sessions as well as weekend and overnight rehearsals. With the goal of sharing festive joy with CX colleagues and the Hong Kong community, the flash mob is a great display of the Cabin Crew team spirit and all for a very worthy cause. At the end of the performance, a children's choir from South Lantau sung a trio of Christmas carols while volunteers collected donations from the crowd. All proceeds raised were donated to Operation Santa Claus. Support the event and share the joy with your friends!
