After going to Krishna Vamsi's house, Subbaraju was offered a small role in Krishna Vamsi's Khadgam. Subbaraju first film name is Khadgam in 2003. Some of the famous movies in which Subbaraju acted are Arya, Aayudham, Soggadu, Subhash Chandra Bose, Allari Pidugu, Bhadra, Pokiri, Stalin, Tulasi, Gaja, Parugu, Kantri, Bujjigadu, Khaleja, Bindaas, Leader, Bbuddah…Hoga Tera Baap, Dookudu, BodyGuard, Mirchi, Thalaivan, Yevadu and Baahubali.
