- description: Several thousand people marched on Sunday afternoon in Paris to denounce fascism and honour killed 18 year-old activist, Clement Meric, who died two weeks ago following an attack. The protesters comprised of supporters of Clement Meric along with political activists from the New Anticapitalist Party, anarchist groups, the associations Attac and SOS Homophobia, and the unions UNEF and CGT. This was the third biggest antifascist protest in Paris since Meric died. A number of protesters, who held lit flares, shouted: "Clement, Clement, antifa" or "No room for fascists, no fascists in our neighbourhoods. " The protesters however were not just marching against fascism, they were also denouncing Islamophobia and homophobia. During the march some public property was vandalised including a bus stop and windows.
