Quinton Gardiner, 19, of Toronto, is charged with: 1) Kidnapping for Ransom 2) Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence 3) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm 4) Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order 5) Assault with a Weapon 6) Weapons Dangerous On Sunday, April 24, 2016, as part of the ongoing investigation, a search warrant was executed at a home in the Shaughnessy Boulevard/Trailside Drive area. It is alleged that: - a loaded Walther PPK 9 mm was located Akil Whyte, 23, of Toronto, is charged with: 1) two counts of Careless Storage of Firearm 2) two counts of Fail to Comply with Disposition 3) Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized 4) Possession of Firearm Obtained by the Commission of an Offence 5) Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm 6) Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order 7) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime - Under 8) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm He appeared in court on Monday, April 25, 2016, at 1000 Finch Avenue West, 10 a.m., in courtroom 306. A 16-year-old boy, of Toronto, is charged with: 1) two counts of Careless Storage of Firearm 2) Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized 3) Possession of Firearm Obtained by the Commission of an Offence 4) Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm 5) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime - Under 6) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm He appeared in court on Monday, April 25, 2016, at 2201 Finch Avenue West, at 10 a.m., in courtroom 204. Police are seeking the public's assistance locating an outstanding man and boy, now wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for kidnapping. Lincoln Anthony Richards, 23, is described as 6’, approximately 230 lbs. A 17-year-old boy, is described as 5’7”, approximately 130 lbs. These people are believed to be armed and dangerous. If you see them, do not approach, but call 9-1-1. Judicial authorization has been obtained to identify the boy pursuant to Section 110(4) of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. This authorization prohibits any publication of his name and photograph after it expires at 2:30 p.m., on Monday, May 2, 2016, or after his arrest.
