Thousands of people gathered together from hundreds of indigenous nations including every state in the united states. From counties as far as time, sweden, guatemala, brazil, and new zealand the tribes gathered to stop the building of the dapl tribes. People from around the world peacefully gathered to protect the sacred land and water of the Lakota people. In this struggle peaceful protectors were shot, maced, sprayed with fire hoses at midnight in below freezing temperatures. They have endured so much pain and suffering just to peacefully make a stand to protect the sanctity of our mother earth.
