State pitcher Travis Orwig during the Wolfpack's 9-2 win Wednesday. That is, until N.C. State center fielder Brett Williams came flying into the picture, made a full-extension catch, did some sort of half-flip in mid-air, and landed in a neat little somersault. Then he got up and walked away like it was nothing. Well, that catch landed Williams in the No. 2 spot on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays list. The video has also been making the internet rounds, be it on Deadspin, The Big Lead or USA Today. Play the video again. Just look at that catch, would you? Williams, a senior from New Bern, was the Wolfpack's starting center fielder in 2011 and earned a medical redshirt for this season after tearing his ACL on opening day last year. He's off to quite the start this season, hitting .458 with three home runs and 13 RBI for the 6-1 Wolfpack. And, if you haven't heard, he made an ridiculous catch against New Mexico State.
