- description: University graduate Kelsie Elise Frick made sure her name would not be forgotten when she walked up on stage to collect her bachelor degree. The 23-year-old was receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English from Grand Valley State University in the US state of Michigan when the announcer read out her name as "Kelsie Elise Frick-en-awesome." She had tweaked the spelling of her name card with a pencil moments before handing it over to the announcer. Footage of the prank shows Ms Frick flashing a smile at the camera as the audience erupted with laughter and cheers. "It worked!" Ms Frick wrote on her Facebook page. "Go out with a bang, I say." She told local online news website mlive: "I was going to dance or something but I didn't realise how fast they go through all the names out there." "It was kind of funny the way [the announcer] said it because he kind of realised it halfway through." The December 8 incident, uploaded to YouTube a week ago, has received almost 120,000 views at last count. Ms Frick said she hopes to pursue a career in teaching.
