The president had effusive praise for doctors, nurses and first responders who treated the survivors of Wednesday's attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 students and faculty dead. Fourteen others were injured. “I’ll tell you who appreciates it, too, is the parents," Trump said. "Because I was at the hospital with the parents and they are very thankful for the job. They’re in really great shape considering most people would not have been. They are really thankful."
