A two-year old boy living on the third floor of the building fell out from the security window of his home's balcony when his parents were out. His head was stuck between the bars of the security window and his body was hanging in the air. A resident passing by saw him and called for help loudly. Liang Lei, who lives in a neighboring building, soon arrived at the site. With no safety equipment, Liang climbed up using the security windows on the surface of the building. Then he reached the boy and lifted him with one hand, holding the bars with the other. Other residents called firefighters and prepared a quilt below Liang and the boy in case they fell. Finally, a man from a lock company opened the door of the boy's home and got him back to the room.
