Hosts Sevastopol were a point behind Metalurg Zaporizhya and knew they had to win to have the promotion place in their own hands going into the final day next Tuesday. The critical game was locked at 1-1 with 15 minutes to go when Sevastopol had a free-kick from the right, floated in and eventually punched home by Sergey Kuznetsov. Yes, you read that right, Kuznetsov clearly taps the ball in with his hand. It is one of the clearest hand balls you will ever see but referee Victor Shvetsov completely missed it. And, of course, the game finished 2-1. With the handball goal looking likely to have decided a whole season's football. Gutted for Metalurg Zaporizhya.
