- description: Sam Bennett, riding for An Post Chain Reaction Seán Kelly, has won Stage Three of The Rás, and in the process claimed a second consecutive stage win for his team. Bennett, from Carrick-on-Suir, took the 141- kilometre stage from Nenagh to Listowel following a thrilling bunch sprint. The yellow jersey was claimed by Marcin Bialoblocki, riding for UK Youth Pro Cycling, who was third across the line on Day Three. There was disaster, though, for Peter Hawkins, who started the day leading the General Classification. He was forced to withdraw from the remainder of the race, having suffered a suspected broken collarbone in a crash near Ballyneety. Today's King of the Mountains jersey went to Martin Hunal (Czech Republic Sparta Praha) with Meehall Fitgerald (Tipperary Visit Nenagh.ie) taking the County Rider jersey, and Samuel Harrison (Great Britain National Team) winning the Under 23s jersey. Stage Four takes the peloton 153 kilometres from Listowel to Glengarriff.
