Meeting needs instead of overkill, this PC blows through almost any game you give to it. If you're looking for a budget Gaming Desktop around $1,200 (built this one for $1,161.46 AFTER-tax), try this configuration. This video is to show you some of the most economical specifications you can combine to create a powerful gaming PC that should last years for "next-gen" gaming. The only thing, though, is if your looking to expand to another GPU in the future, get an SLI supported motherboard if you want to use the GTX 770 or anything by GeForce (which will cost you more, but I didn't need this, so this motherboard was perfect for this card to meet my needs. Not planning on getting a second GPU anytime soon...). This AsRock MB is only CrossFireX., but that doesn't matter to me... Battlefield 4 Footage was played at ALL Ultra settings (minus the annoying blurring effect in the distance from Anti-Aliasing Post) with extensive and personally-done settings optimization to the game. V-Sync in-game was disabled (because it sucks), and enabled separately in the GeForce settings. Game runs smoothly and flawlessly now with NO screen tearing. Without V-Sync, it runs anywhere from 80-130 FPS on average, depending on the environment and map. Hottest I've seen the GPU get after hours of gameplay on BF4, Skyrim, etc. is 72 F. The Obsidian 750D Case and ACX cooling in the GPU work perfectly together. Custom-Built (by my own hands) PC Specs: OS: Windows 8.1 CASE: Corsair Obsidian 750D PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-4670k RAM: Crucial 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3 WIRELESS: TPLink WRLS-N300 OPTICAL DRIVE: LGELECOEM LG 14X SATA BD BURNER POWER SUPPLY: Corsair 750W CXMOD MOTHERBOARD: AsRock Z87 Pro4 ATX LGA 1150 GPU: EVGA GTX 770 2GB SuperClocked Edition w/ ACX Cooling HDD: Toshiba 1TB 7200 RPM LIGHTING: Antec Accent Lighting LED TOTAL BUILD COST: $1,161.46 after-tax Accessories: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Razer DeathAdder 3500 Razer Goliathus Control Ed.
