- description: We just spent two days riding through the Far North... including the petrified Kauri Gumfields, riding through miles of sand dunes and then along 90 Mile Beach before swimming the horses at Shipwreck Bay. The following day we rode through the Aupouri forest and along 90 Mile Beach and rode through herds of over 100 wild horses in a two hour period - both Kaimanawas were ridden on the buckle and were brave, surefooted and enjoyed their adventure! Ranger, Soldier, Gizmo, Memo and Testimony have all done the Far Northern Adventure over the past five months. We hold these rides a few times each year and bookings can be made at camps@showtymhorses.co.nz
