- description: This was an unprovoked attack by several of the Congolese president's security guards. Seconds before I began filming, five or six security guards crossed the street toward the two protesters and began to brutally beat them. The man in the foreground was knocked down and kicked repeatedly. The man in the background (not easily visible) managed to get away. The protesters did not make a move toward the president. He was already gone when the agents ran up and attacked them.
