- description: Canadian police say they believe two fugitives suspected of killing Australian Lucas Fowler, his American girlfriend Chynna Deese, and a third man have been found dead just kilometres from their burnt-out car. A manhunt for 19-year-old Kam McLeod and 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky had spread across three provinces and spanned hundreds of kilometres. Police confirmed today that two bodies were found approximately 8km from where the pair dumped their stolen Toyota RAV4. Mr McLeod and Mr Schmegelsky themselves were originally considered missing persons. However, police later announced they had become suspects in the murder of three people. They were later charged with second-degree murder over the death of Leonard Dyck, 64.
