Flip League of Legends: New Meta: Smite on Support!

AnnieHow here is the guide: My masteries are 21/9/0 or 21/0/9 for more bust with all my magical spells. It's up to you if you more need the tankyness and the smite-masterie or the mana and the flash-masterie. The runes are full AP runes because of the good scaling of my grab and my ult. For items you have to find a good mixture between being supportive, but still doing enough dmg so smite was no waste. I normally open with standard support items and then switch over to AP depending on how well the lane works. Mentioning the tactics: #1: faster golems on lvl 1 smite the big golem right on spawning, and you nearly do not lose any hp. Ofcourse works on higher lvl's aswell. #2: stealing blue If you decide on stealing blue, do a late invade (do it alone) and place the ward around 1:40 when the enemys are doing the wolves for the jungler. Then come back when the enemys are helping for doing a smiteless, and grab-smite the buff. If you aren't invading, give the smite towards your jungler and help him have a even better start. #3: the dragons with blitz you and your ADC are able to do drake at lvl 6 right away, so base at lvl 5 and grab a pink, and take drake. You maybe have to switch aggro while doing depending on the masteries and on the ADC that is with you. Remember to burn ult right before smiting, so you can use the full lengh of you ult-passive. #4: teamdrakes / baron With 2 smites in 1 team there is a 2.000 dmg burst on objectives if coordinated correctly, use that on doing dragon and smiting baron. There shouldn't be a chance of missing any of those then. #5: and the smitegrab itself on your first game you will realize that it is not that easy to coordinate the smite and the grab correctly, but once you found out, it's impossible to not miss any smites or grabs anymore.
