Nicole Easton was caught on camera moaning in agony after landing flat-footed on the concrete. In a 43-second video posted by her MUM on YouTube, a group of friends are seen standing on the roof of a house, preparing to jump into a swimming pool. A man's voice can be heard egging on the gaggle to "just jump, it's not that far", as the camera pans from the pool to the nervous group. One man leaps from the roof and successfully lands in the pool. The camera sweeps back to the roof and the Arizona teen, who is wearing a hot pink two-piece, squeals and nervously laughs as she clings onto a friend's hand. After hesitating, she and her pal make the leap -- but while her friend makes a splash, Nicole misses the pool. Instead, she hits the concrete deck with a loud thud, breaking both her feet. As the cameraman scrambles out of the water, Nicole can be heard moaning in agony as she's asked why she didn't jump. But in a twist, the Arizona teen's mum has come under fire for setting up a crowd sourcing page to raise money for her injured daughter. Carrie Yunker, of Peoria, Arizona, has set up a page on gofundme.com to raise $4,200 (£2,740) to help cover her daughter's medical costs. In a post on the site, mum Carrie explained that her daughter had just left school, got a job and moved into her first shared house with friends. She wrote how the friends were 'being crazy young adults' when they attempted the daring leap. Mum Carrie said: "I'm surprised that Nicole would even try something like that...she's not the very daring type." She added that Nicole is expected to spend the next six weeks confined to a wheelchair. Carried explained that donations would help pay for Nicole's rent, as well as taking care of her bills, food and toiletries. But as the video went viral, the online community have not been as sympathetic as Carrie would have hope, leading one YouTube commenter to dub Nicole the 'idiot of the year'. So far just nine people had donated $150 (£97) towards the fundraising target.
