Israeli duo Telalit Charsky (cello) and Ron Regev (piano) has recently done exactly that, while showing great virtuosity and enthusiasm in its fresh approach to Beethoven's sonatas. Throughout the evening at the Felicja Blumental Music Center (16 May 2013), in addition to playing the five sonatas, Telalit and Ron recounted anecdotes, and told the audience about the composer's life. On stage, behind the duo, quotes of the composer were projected, as another means to show different aspects of Beethoven's life and persona.
