In an interview with Channel Seven's Sunday Night , Natascha revealed that she lives in the Austrian bunker to prevent it becoming a "theme park." The 28-year-old was kidnapped by warped loner Wolfgang Priklopil aged just 10 in 1998 as she walked to school . She was then held captive for the next eight and-a-half years - a time she was beaten and starved - before escaping on August 23, 2006. But Natascha has revealed it was important to own the building for fear of it becoming a "theme park", and has revealed she still cleans the home. When asked why the home was still important to her, and why she continues to live there, Natascha replied: "It's important because I don't want to have the false people in this house. "I don't want to have, a kind of, theme park in here." She has written a new book about her life called Ten Years of Freedom – but her ordeal goes on. A new probe is underway concerning the alleged suicide of Priklopil. Two coroners who examined the case files determined that he might have been murdered and that is now being investigated.
