- description: I came across this story over the weekend about a young family going through what no parent should have to go through. Renee and Kim Fulko Lim are a couple who last November celebrated the birth of their baby girl Maddison. However the day she was born she was quickly taken to the ICU as she was unresponsive. The family, 14 days later found out that little Maddy has a rare brain condition (Ponto-cerell-bar Hypo-plasia). There are only 15 cases worldwide. This condition mean that she will never be able to smile, sit, support her own head, eat solids, talk – and suffers multiple daily seizures. Condition is aggressive and means little Maddy will have only 1 year to live.
