This technique can make the worst mascara better and great mascara excellent. Take a tissue or the back of your hand and wipe off all the excess product. Then apply to your lashes. If you've used the back of your hand you can then pick up the excess back onto the wand and re-apply. Almost every makeup artist i know wipes the wand. All the excess is not needed upon first application. And by wiping the wand you will ensure your lashes stay curled for longer. I promise.
