- description: Ok.. so its deviated from the original shape a bit because it just wasnt working as I'd like. I've removed about 1cm of height from the blade at the guard and leaned it up all the way, as well as refining the distal taper quite a bit. its now a lighter feeling fast action blade that has a lot of stiffness, but still flexes. total weight is 29.5oz (838 grams) which is a good weight for a longer blade like this. Next step will be to make a sheath. I am probably going to wait for a cnc router to become available and make a wooden scabbard.
