EVENT LOCATION: Memorial Hall - Please Touch Museum 4231 Avenue of the Republic Philadelphia, PA 19131 DATE – 9/13/14 PARKING: Free – Please park diagonally, slightly on grass by the Please Touch Museum. There will be some road closures for parking. MEETING POINT: This year TEAM PVP was awarded with our own tent!! Thank you all for the donations and participating in the walk to make this possible for our team! Just look for the tent that has a big TEAM PVP banner and we will all meet and hang out there until the walk starts. WALK START TIME: The walk starts at 8:30, so plan to arrive at the TEAM PVP tent anytime before that. I'd say give yourself at least a half hour, so 8:00 would be fine, or you could come slightly earlier if you choose. (Just allow yourself time for us to give you your shirt before the walk.) (FEEL FREE TO WANDER ABOUT TO THE DIFFERENT TENTS AT THE WALK. THERE WILL BE SPONSORS THAT PROVIDE DRINKS AND SNACKS. THERE'S ALSO RAFFLES, FACE PAINTING, AND BALLOON ARTISTS) T SHIRT PICK UP Everyone who pre-registered for the walk will have their t-shirt ready in the TEAM PVP tent. We will have helpers at the tent to assist you in getting your requested shirt size, along with a bib race number, and a special Team PVP sign to wear as we walk! We plan to stick around after the walk to take as many photos with you guys as you'd like! We think things will run more smoothly if we wait until the end so that way we can take care of distributing all the shirts and signs before the walk. :) REGISTRATION & DONATIONS Anyone can still register at the event – go to DAY OF REGISTRATION tent. Make sure if you register at the walk, that you sign up to TEAM PVP. EVENT SCHEDULE Opening Ceremony 7:45 am 5K Run & 5K Walk Starts (1.5 mile Walk Delayed Start) 8:30 am New!
