  • description: http://www.shoottech.com Rubber based slingshots have lots of advantages over other muscle operated weapons - they are very efficient, and the ammo is totally inexpensive. But they also havce limitations, such as relatively low maximum speed of the shot. In addition, sighting systems are not common due to the nature of the weapon - practice is much needed to shoot a slingshot with accuracy. The Shoottech "Raptor Advance" bow is having all of the slingshot's advantages, but none of its disadvantages. A pulley based compound system reduces the weight in drawn condition from the 80 lb top draw to just about 30 lb, and the peep/3D sights make aiming easy. The weapon shoots both steel BBs (10 to 12 mm diameter) as well as arrows. With the clocked max speed of 148 m/s (almost 500 feet per second), this "slingshot" is the fastest one ever tested by The Slingshot Channel. Two little bonus videos complete this thorough review. A "The Slingshot Channel" production!
