- description: We're appealing for help to identify two men who held-up a corner shop. The masked men threatened a shopkeeper in Vardon Supermarket on Vardon Way, Kings Norton in Birmingham with what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money, but the shopkeeper immediately activated his alarm and grabbed a baseball bat to fend off his attackers leaving them to make off with nothing more than the beer and a mobile phone. The robbery happened just after 7.30pm on Tuesday 6 January. Both men are described as white, in their 20s, around 5’10" − 6’ tall with a skinny build. One was wearing a blue jacket, a hooded top and tracksuit bottoms. The other wore a black jacket and black tracksuit bottoms.
