According to The Examiner.com a spokesperson from the parks Depatment said the dead carcass was that of a discarded cooked pig. But some aren't sure. Denise Ginley who took the photos saud, ""Is this another incarnation of the Montauk Monster,or just the biggest rat in the city?" She also said about the size "maybe two feet, a bit more perhaps, head to tail." The Montauk Monster refers to an unidentified mysterious animal that washed shore the Long Island shoreline in 2008. By any examination to figure this creatures origin is perplexing and supports the over stated phase, "Only in New York".
