Home security cameras have captured the moment a young boy's cat came charging to his defence after a dog attacked him. The CCTV footage shows the toddler riding his bicycle in front of his Bakersfield, California, home when his neighbour's dog sneaks around a parked car and grabs his leg. Within seconds, the feline comes to the boy's aid, launching itself at the dog and chasing it off the property. The four-year-old was taken to hospital where he received 10 stitches after Tuesday's attack. The boy's mother, Erica Triantafilo, wrote on Facebook: "We aren't upset with our neighbors, we're just thankful our son wasn't injured more.
