The nationalists came from a metro station as soldiers blocked the entrance to the cathedral, announcing that demonstrators would not be let out and the march would not take place. The nationalists attempted to beak through the cordon, to no avail. No injuries were reported. Anti-EU demonstrators say they're against military action in the east of the country or the further intergration of Ukraine into European trans-national bodies.
