Hexafluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6) also known as Hydrofluorosilicic Acid, Hydrofluosilicic acid, Silicofluoric acid, Fluosilicic acid, Fluorosilicic acid or Hydrogen hexafluorosilicate, is used as an active substance for water fluoridation in Ireland and parts of the UK.
