They have been heard and appreciated. My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon." Robin Williams remembered, Billy Crystal said it best. Since his passing, I've struggled to find the best words that express the towering influence Robin Williams exerted as an artist, humanitarian and human being. Just like you, it was hard for me to separate Robin the man from Robin the entertainer. For years I'd assumed he was always on, always performing, always light-hearted. It's been a shock to our collective psyche that, like so many of us, Robin had his fair share of personal pain. Robin Williams took his own life on August 11th, 2014.
