Rossomando and her friend were on a skyride at the time, and that ride lost power because of the storm. Instead of waiting for help to come, Rossomando was scared she was going to get struck by lightning, so she jumped 35 feet onto the ground. She said you can't tell from the video but there were lightning strikes close by and the storm was right on top of them.
