- description: @ 27-7-13 two major frontal systems developed above the Aquitaine Region in Soutwest France. These are some pictures and timelapses between 21h and 1h @ midnight taken between Bergenhuizen-Mheer-S'Gravenvoeren and Noorbeek just at the edge of the Belgium-Dutch-border. I used a Nikon D800, shot jpeg's (instead of the usal RAW) combined them in Lightroom to form some timelapse-animations. To show you the amount of lightning occuring somewhere near Geilenkirchen (Germany). I stacked multiple images in Starstax, which I normally use for developping startrails of multiple images. used lenses for the Lightning Nikkor Ais ED IF 300mm f4,5 ... 25yr old manual lens and a Nikkor Q 135mm f3,5 .. this one is at least 40 years old. And a heavy Manfrotto 055 tripod... but it got moved by the wind. Have Fun Bjorn
