Akbar finds out from them that it was Shareef-ud-din and his father who had made this vicious plan against their newly born prince. Akbar rushes towards Shareef-ud-din's chamber but is astonished to find Bakshi Banu lying hurt and unconscious on the ground. He later learns that both Shareef and his father have fled the scene.
