- description: CrossFit Chin Up vs Rock climber + Gynmast. (FUNNY!) CrossFit does have some great things going for it. Teaching students proper form perhaps is not the best one. ;) The 'kip up' is what CrossFit call a chin up. I can imagine someone smashing out there teeth on the metal bar trying to do those too fast after a few days on the typical crossfit low carb diet! Yes there are exceptions and there is some great CrossFit trainers out there BUT the CrossFit model is about working out as fast as you can. Im NOT a fan of this as it can create terrible sports injuries that we see commonly in crossFit. What are your thoughts?
